REC

Phil Tan was born in Singapore, where he spent his childhood and at the age of five moved to the UK. Phil started off his athletic career as a gymnast, where he became the British Youth Tumbling champion. Years later after getting into martial arts, Phil became the Men's British Tae Kwon do Champion.

His first film break was as an actor and fight choreographer in the film "The Fiendish Plot of Dr. Fu Manchu" with Peter Sellers. After that came "Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan." Phil was then contacted by legendary director Steven Spielberg for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Then for action choreography with Tim Burton on Batman. The momentum hasn't stopped since, Phil has continued to create innovative action design sequences with Hollywood elite.
